Col Mark Ervin, MD

Ervin graduated from Emory University School of Medicine in 1992. He is the managing member of OP MED Specialist, LLC, based in San Antonio, TX. During Dr. Ervin’s 28 years of service, he was a founding member and commander of the Special Ops Surgical Teams, designed the USAF Ground Surgical Team/tactical Critical Care Evac team/Inflight Surgical as SOCEUR Command Surgeon. He advised and mentored the U.S. Army/U.S. Navy/White House Medical Unit and other agencies on developing austere resuscitative/surgical teams. He was a founding member of the JTS committees on Surgical Combat Casualty Care and Enroute Combat Casualty Care.
